Celebrating the Heroes of Healing

On 15 May, the Faculty of Allied Health and Sciences, in collaboration with the students of the BS Nursing Program at Al-Kawthar University, came together to celebrate International Nurses Day with deep respect, admiration, and enthusiasm.

The event was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, compassion, and unwavering service of nurses who stand as the backbone of the healthcare system. It highlighted how nurses go beyond clinical care by offering comfort, reassurance, and hope to patients and their families during moments of vulnerability. Their role was acknowledged not only as healthcare providers but also as caregivers who bring humanity into healing.

The celebration created a reflective and inspiring atmosphere where faculty and students expressed sincere appreciation for the nursing profession. Speeches and student participation emphasized the values of empathy, responsibility, and ethical practice while recognizing the sacrifices made by nurses in their daily service.

BS Nursing students actively engaged in the program by sharing their admiration for the profession and reaffirming their commitment to becoming skilled, compassionate, and dedicated healthcare professionals. The event encouraged them to embrace both the scientific and human dimensions of nursing.

The celebration stood as a powerful reminder of the dignity of the nursing profession and strengthened the commitment of the academic community toward compassionate care and excellence in healthcare.
