Al-Kawthar University is pleased to welcome Dr. Shahid Mir as Director of Student Services, reinforcing the University's commitment to cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, and student-centered campus environment.
Dr. Mir joins Al-Kawthar University with an accomplished career spanning academia, professional development, and institutional leadership. He holds a Ph.D. from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California, USA, and has served in key leadership positions at prominent higher education institutions, including the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). Prior to joining Al-Kawthar University, he served as Professor and Director of the Professional Development Center and Corporate Engagement, where he led initiatives focused on faculty development, institutional capacity building, and strengthening partnerships between academia and industry.
In his role as Director of Student Services, Dr. Mir will provide strategic leadership for initiatives that enhance the overall student experience. Working closely with students, faculty, and administrative departments, he will oversee programs that promote student engagement, well-being, leadership development, and access to comprehensive support services. His efforts will contribute to creating an environment where students are empowered to thrive academically, develop personally, and participate meaningfully in campus life.
