Eligibility Criteria

To apply for admission to Al-Kawthar University, applicants must have a qualification with an overall second division or equivalent grade.

Islamic Scholar Programme

Applicants for the eight-year Islamic Scholar Programme must have at least 50% marks in their Matriculation from a recognised Institute/Board.

BS Computer Science

Applicants for the four-year BS Computer Science Programme must have at least 50% marks in their Intermediate/A Levels or an equivalent qualification from a recognised Institute/Board. Additionally, Mathematics must be passed with a minimum of 2nd division.

Students with A Levels or other foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Intermediate Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

The number of credit hours required for the degree will be in accordance with the policies of the Higher Education Commission.

BS information technology

Applicants for the four-year BS Information Technology Programme must have at least 50% marks in their Intermediate/A Levels or an equivalent qualification from a recognised Institute/Board. Additionally, Mathematics must be passed with a minimum of 2nd division.

Students with A Levels or other foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Intermediate Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

The number of credit hours required for the degree will be in accordance with the policies of the Higher Education Commission.

BS Education

Applicants for the four-year BS Education Programme must have at least 45% marks in their Intermediate/A Levels or at least 60% marks in a Diploma from a recognised Institute/Board.

Students with A Levels or other foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Intermediate Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

The number of credit hours required for the degree will be in accordance with the policies of the Higher Education Commission.

BS English

Admission to the BS English Programme will be determined based on the following weightages: 50% for the Al-Kawthar University Entry Test, 25% for HSSC or equivalent education, 15% for SSC or equivalent education, and 10% for the interview conducted by the Admission Committee. Applicants must achieve a minimum aggregate score of 50% to be eligible for admission.

Applicants must achieve a minimum aggregate score of 50% to be eligible for admission.
