Standing Against Drug Abuse on World Drug Day

Al-Kawthar University, in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), is set to host a World Drug Day awareness session marking the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event will bring together experts, students, and faculty members under one shared message: Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.

The session will serve as a meaningful platform for open dialogue on one of the most pressing challenges facing today's youth. Students and faculty will engage with specialists who will shed light on the realities of addiction, the pathways to prevention, and the role every individual can play in building a drug-free community.

We are honoured to welcome Major Muhammad Saleem (DDR, ANF Sindh) and Ms. Urooj Buriro (Psychologist & Addiction Professional, ANF) as our featured speakers, whose expertise and insights promise to inspire our students to become ambassadors of a healthier, drug-free society.
