Strengthening Accessibility and Policy Excellence
Al-Kawthar University had the honor of welcoming a Monitoring and Evaluation Team from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on 09 June 2026 for a comprehensive review of the University’s accessibility facilities for persons with disabilities and the implementation of key HEC policies.
The visit commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address by the Honorable Vice Chancellor and a detailed presentation highlighting the University’s efforts towards policy compliance, accessibility enhancement, and the creation of an inclusive learning environment.
During the visit, the HEC team engaged with relevant University committees and conducted a detailed campus tour to assess accessibility arrangements and support services available for differently-abled students and staff. The evaluation also covered the implementation of important policies, including the Protection Against Harassment at the Workplace Policy, National Fee Refund Policy, and Anti-Drug and Tobacco Policy.
