Ms. Nida E. Rub is a Computer Science Lecturer with 4+ years of academic experience. She holds an MS (CS) and a BS (CS) and is a Gold Medalist.

She teaches Artificial Intelligence, Programming Fundamentals, Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering, with expertise in OBE-based curriculum design, academic mentorship, and departmental coordination. She has served at PAF-KIET (NN Campus) and Indus University.

Research Interests: Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning in Medical Imaging.
Achievements: Gold Medalist; award winner at the Invention to Innovation Summit (2017); FYP Coordinator; speaker and organizer at academic and Islamic events.

Mr. Waseem Nusrat is an Lecturer in Islamic Studies , a dedicated Research Scholar, and an experienced Coordinator. He holds an M.S. in Islamic Studies and a BS in Theology. With a unique blend of academic rigor and international professional experience, Mr. Nusrat brings a global perspective to his teaching and research.

His professional background includes over two years of experience as a student coordinator at Al-Shibli Trust and a year serving as an Interpreter in Turkey for ozdoken tarim makinalari. This international exposure is further highlighted by his time at Necmettin Erbakan University in Turkey, which was supported by a prestigious Turkish scholarship. A distinguished polyglot, he is multi-lingual, possessing proficiency in English, Arabic, Turkish, Urdu, and Sindhi.

Mr. Nusrat’s research portfolio explores the intersection of social trends, branding, and classical philosophy. His M.S. research investigated atheist trends among university students in Karachi, while his BS thesis provided an introduction to epistemological approaches in philosophy. Beyond his core subject matter, he is deeply interested in translation, transcription, and academic writing.

Mr. Amjad Ali Jokihio is a dedicated and experienced English Lecturer with a strong academic background in English linguistics and literature, and extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate level. He has served at several well-known public and private sector universities in Karachi, including SZABIST Clifton campus, Iqra University, Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), Institute of Business Management (IoBM), and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) Karachi. At these institutions, he has delivered a wide range of courses including linguistics, discourse analysis, academic and professional writing, communication skills, technical& business writing, business & electronic communication, and functional English. His teaching practice emphasizes clarity, student engagement, and the practical application of language skills in academic and professional contexts.

Holding an M.Phil. in English, along with postgraduate and professional qualifications in education, he possesses strong expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment, and student mentoring. In addition to classroom teaching, he has contributed to academic administration through roles such as program management, departmental coordination, and student counseling. He is proficient in English language course design, standardized test preparation, and the use of modern pedagogical approaches to support diverse learners. Committed to academic excellence and continuous professional growth, Mr. Jokhio aims to contribute effectively to institutional development and student success.

Mr. Sunny Maqsood is a dedicated and results-driven English lecturer with extensive experience in teaching Academic English, Communication Skills, and Writing Skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students. He specializes in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), academic writing, research skills, and cross-cultural communication.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sunny has designed and implemented innovative curricula, integrating digital learning tools like Moodle, Zoom, and MS Teams to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. He is passionate about fostering students’ academic writing, critical thinking, and communication skills while providing personalized academic support and mentoring.

Mr. Sunny has held faculty positions at SZABIST University, Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, KASB Institute of Technology, and NUML. Mr. Sunny has extensive teaching experience at higher education institutions and has contributed to professional development initiatives, conducted research publications on language teaching, and actively engages in educational technology integration.

Mr. Shahrose Ahmed is an experienced academic and clinician with over 10 years of expertise in higher education teaching, research, and student well-being. He holds an MS in Clinical Psychology (Chancellor’s Honor Roll), along with a Post-Magisterial Diploma in Clinical Psychology, BS in Clinical Psychology, and a Public Health Certification.

He has served in multidisciplinary roles including Lecturer, Clinical Psychologist, Program Manager, and Public Health Well-being Expert, with international research experience at McGill University (Canada), the Gates Foundation, and Global Funds. His research focuses on mental health, social behavior, and public health, with multiple publications in recognized journals.

Mr. Ahmed has received three research grants, developed student wellness programs, and contributed to institutional policies on well-being and academic accommodation.

Mr. Rohail Intekhab is currently serving as Lecturer and Director Student Affairs at Al-Kawthar University. He is a distinguished media professional, educationist, and academic administrator with over 17 years of extensive experience in broadcast media, journalism, marketing, and higher education.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and Advertising and an MPhil in Mass Communication and Media Studies. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Media Studies, which is in progress.

Professionally, Mr. Intekhab has been associated with several leading television networks in Pakistan. He has worked as an Anchorperson with ABBTAKK TV, BOL TV, Business Plus TV, PTV, ARY Digital, HUM TV, NEWSoNE, and GEO TV. In addition, he has worked as an international television commercial artist for prominent advertising agencies.

His professional expertise includes broadcast journalism, television news production, media management, corporate communication, and public affairs.

Academically, he has served as a faculty member at well-reputed institutions, including NUML, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Iqra University, Greenwich University, SZABIST College, the University of Karachi, and FUUAST.

Currently, along with his administrative responsibilities at Al-Kawthar University, he is also serving as a Morning Show Host at Channel 5 News.

Ms Sabeen Azam is a Lecturer in at Al-Kawthar University, currently completing her PhD at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology (FUUAST). An accomplished researcher and author, she recently published the 365-page volume Gender in International Relations: Feminist Perspectives and Policy Challenges (2025) with IGI Global. With a career spanning teaching, editorial management, and extensive peer-reviewing, she has supervised 19 undergraduate research projects and published over 20 journal articles on themes including CPEC, climate diplomacy, and global security. A recipient of the 2025 Best Article Presenter Award in Nepal, Ms. Azam is a frequent speaker at international conferences, contributing vital insights to the discourse on South Asian geopolitics and the evolving global order.

Nida Zaid Khan is a dedicated Registered Nurse and nursing educator with clinical and academic experience in critical care, infection control, and undergraduate nursing instruction. She currently serves as a Nursing Lecturer at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing. She previously served as a Nursing Lecturer at Sindh Modern College of Nursing & Health Sciences and has previously worked as an Infection Control Coordinator at National Medical Centre and as a SICU Registered Nurse at South City Hospital, Karachi.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ziauddin University and has completed multiple professional certifications in critical care and life support. Her academic interests include infection prevention, clinical nursing education, and evidence-based patient care, supported by her published research in surgical nursing practices.
