Dr. Athar Mahboob is a visionary academic leader and an expert in electrical engineering, information technology and cybersecurity, with over 30 years of experience in education, research, and consulting. He has served as the Vice Chancellor of two prominent public-sector universities in Pakistan, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology, where he led strategic expansion, academic innovation, and student enrollment growth.

He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences & Technology, Pakistan, and BS and MS degrees from Florida State University, USA. He has consulted for various reputable organizations in the public and private sectors, and founded Ibn Khaldun Systems, a leading engineering and technology solutions provider. He has also mentored and trained thousands of student engineers and colleagues, and received the prestigious civil award of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz from the President of Pakistan in 2012 for his outstanding contributions to science, engineering, and technology.

Dr. Rida Ahmed is a dynamic academic leader with over 15 years of experience dedicated to fostering inclusive and innovative learning environments, advancing research excellence, and building strategic partnerships. Inspired by the transformative power of education, she empowers students, faculty, and staff to achieve their full potential.

Her career focuses on bridging academia, research, and industry to promote collaborative growth. She specializes in academic planning, policy development, and faculty training, with an emphasis on student-centered approaches.

As a Registrar, Dr. Ahmed oversees faculty and staff hiring, policy development, compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies, student admissions, student registration, collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders, and record management.
