Throughout his career, Dr. Khan has held significant leadership positions, including serving as the Head of Department (HoD) for Management Sciences and the Director of Student Affairs (DSA) at Al-Kawthar University. Dr. Muhammad Farhan Bukhari is an esteemed academician and specialist in Management Sciences, currently serving as a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Al-Kawthar University. With a career dedicated to the advancement of business education and organizational research, Dr. Bukhari brings a wealth of expertise to the university’s management programs. He earned his Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Karachi, where his doctoral research focused on the vital role of soft skills training and development in enhancing employee performance.

Throughout his academic tenure, Dr. Bukhari has developed a robust research profile that explores the intersection of Human Resource Management (HRM), Organizational Behavior, and Ethical Leadership. He is particularly noted for his scholarly work that examines leadership and soft skills through both secular frameworks and Islamic perspectives, including insights derived from the Quran and Sunnah. His research also addresses critical contemporary issues such as mental health in the workplace, work-life balance, and the evolution of HR practices in diverse industrial sectors.

Prior to joining Al-Kawthar University, Dr. Bukhari held significant academic leadership roles, including serving as the Chairperson of the Department of Management & Social Sciences and an Associate Professor at UIT University. His professional background also includes teaching positions at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU). Dr. Muhammad Meraj is an Associate Professor and the current Head of Department for Humanities and Social Sciences at Al-Kawthar University, Karachi. He holds a Ph.D. in Asia Pacific Studies with a specialization in Economics from Japan and is a two-time HEC Approved Ph.D. Supervisor. His extensive administrative background includes serving as Associate Dean and Head of the Economics Department at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University , as well as holding various visiting faculty and teaching assistant positions in both Pakistan and Japan.

As a prolific researcher and editor, Dr. Meraj has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, covering themes such as microfinance, environmental sustainability, and economic growth. He has successfully supervised 3 Ph.D. candidates, 16 MS students, and 10 MBA/BBA projects to date. Beyond his research, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief for Psyientist and an Editor for the Jinnah Business and Economics Research Journal , while also acting as a reviewer for several international journals in the fields of economics and management.

Dr. Meraj possesses a diverse professional skillset, including an Oracle Certified Professional certification from the USA. He is an active member of several global organizations, such as the World Economics Association and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. His teaching expertise spans Advanced Econometrics, Microeconomics, and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, he is committed to social development, having mentored the installation of 13 hand and solar pumps in the Thar Desert to support sustainable development goals

Dr. Khawaja Masood Raza holds a PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance and brings over 35 years of senior-level industry experience in Pakistan and abroad. His professional career includes service with Pakistan’s largest Development Financial Institution, where he gained extensive exposure to development finance, financial structuring, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks. In addition, he has worked with manufacturing, services, and consulting organizations, giving him a broad, cross-sectoral industry perspective.

Alongside his industry career, Dr. Raza has more than 22 years of teaching experience in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). He has taught Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Islamic Banking and Finance, and Accounting for Islamic Finance at leading business schools as a visiting faculty member for undergraduate and graduate programs. He has also delivered Islamic Banking and Finance courses to practicing bankers at Professional Development Centers. He has served for five years as a permanent faculty member at a business school and is currently serving as Head of the Department of Management Sciences at Al-Kawthar University.

To complement his academic and professional background, Dr. Raza holds the internationally recognized CSAA (Certified Shariah Auditor & Advisor) certification awarded by AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions), Bahrain, the world’s leading and sole standard-setting and certification body for Islamic banking and finance. This qualification further strengthens his expertise in Shariah governance, Islamic financial reporting, Shariah audit, and compliance frameworks.

Dr. Raza is also the co-founder of a Shariah advisory and research company. His continuous engagement with corporate, regulatory, and governance environments enables him to effectively integrate practical case studies, regulatory insights, and contemporary industry practices into classroom teaching

Dr. Naseem Ahmed is a senior educationist and academic administrator with extensive experience in higher education, educational leadership, and social sciences. He is currently serving as Program Manager of the Social Sciences Program at Al-Kawthar University, where he oversees academic planning, faculty coordination, curriculum development, and student academic support.

Dr. Naseem Ahmed holds a PhD and M.Phil in Education from Hamdard University, along with advanced degrees in Islamic Studies and Education from the University of Karachi. His academic background also includes a B.Sc. in Chemistry. Previously, he has worked as Head of the Department of Education at Preston University, Director of the Institute for Educational and Health Grooming, Lecturer at NUML Karachi, and Deputy Director of Social Research at OASIS Insight. He has also served as an Educational Advisor for the Tameer-e-Seerat Program, supporting over 12,000 students, and as a consultant for leading healthcare institutions. His areas of expertise include social sciences program management, educational leadership, curriculum planning, quality assurance, student counseling, teacher training, and social and behavioral studies.

Dr. Naseem Ahmed has conducted workshops and training sessions at leading universities, hospitals, and organizations, including Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi University, Jinnah University for Women, NUML, Fauji Fertilizer, PPL, HinoPak Motors, and major healthcare institutions in Karachi.

Dr. Asbah Zia is an Assistant Professor and Program Manager for the BS Psychology program in the Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Al-Kawthar University. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, training, and consulting, she brings a strong combination of academic and professional expertise. Her strengths include teaching, training, administrative abilities, psychological testing, and counseling, enabling her to effectively guide students and contribute to the development of the department.

Dr. Asbah Zia completed her doctorate in Psychology from the University of Karachi. In addition to being an active researcher, she has extensive experience in academics, training, and consulting. She also provides counseling for psychological and behavioral issues and is committed to raising awareness about mental health.

Dr. Zia has a strong interest in research and actively participates in research-related activities aimed at addressing well-known societal issues. Her research interests include family relationships, societal challenges, and psychological distress related to personal and professional life. She is skilled in psychological assessment using interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests, including Rorschach, HFD, PAI, TAT, WAIS, BFI, MBTI, and others.

She has contributed to several UNDP projects, delivering training sessions to youth on life skills and soft skills. Throughout her career, she has been involved in teaching, training, consulting, and mentoring, with the goal of fostering healthy and productive personalities while minimizing psychological challenges.

Mr. Saad Muzaffar is an experienced educationist and academic administrator with over 27 years of teaching and leadership experience at college and university levels. He previously served as College Section Head at Quaid-e-Azam Rangers School and College and as a Lecturer in Educational Sciences at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Karachi, where he also held positions as Campus Coordinator and Head of Department.

He holds an M.Phil. in Education, an M.Sc. in Applied Physics, and is enrolled in a PhD in Education at the University of Karachi. His research interests include ICT in education, STEM pedagogy, teacher education, and educational psychology. Mr. Muzaffar has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, presented at international conferences, and supervised 50+ B.Ed. and M.Ed. research theses.

Mr Abdullah Athar is a seasoned Supply Chain professional with over 24 years of corporate experience and 11 years of academic teaching experience. With qualifications including MS, ME, MBA, CSCM, PGD, and BE, and a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Abdullah Athar brings strong industry–academia integration to teaching, research, and training.

He has taught Supply Chain, Environmental Science and related electives, published several research papers, and actively worked as a researcher, trainer, and project supervisor in the supply chain domain. Abdullah Athar also has expertise in industry–academia collaboration, and currently serves as Program Manager – Department of Management Science and a Member of BOS & BOF at Al Kawthar University.

Mr. Amjad Ali Jokihio is a dedicated and experienced English Lecturer with a strong academic background in English linguistics and literature, and extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate level. He has served at several well-known public and private sector universities in Karachi, including SZABIST Clifton campus, Iqra University, Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), Institute of Business Management (IoBM), and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) Karachi. At these institutions, he has delivered a wide range of courses including linguistics, discourse analysis, academic and professional writing, communication skills, technical& business writing, business & electronic communication, and functional English. His teaching practice emphasizes clarity, student engagement, and the practical application of language skills in academic and professional contexts.

Holding an M.Phil. in English, along with postgraduate and professional qualifications in education, he possesses strong expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment, and student mentoring. In addition to classroom teaching, he has contributed to academic administration through roles such as program management, departmental coordination, and student counseling. Mr. Sunny Maqsood is a dedicated and results-driven English lecturer with extensive experience in teaching Academic English, Communication Skills, and Writing Skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students. He specializes in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), academic writing, research skills, and cross-cultural communication.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sunny has designed and implemented innovative curricula, integrating digital learning tools like Moodle, Zoom, and MS Teams to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. He is passionate about fostering students’ academic writing, critical thinking, and communication skills while providing personalized academic support and mentoring.

Mr. Sunny has held faculty positions at SZABIST University, Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, KASB Institute of Technology, and NUML. Mr. Sunny has extensive teaching experience at higher education institutions and has contributed to professional development initiatives, conducted research publications on language teaching, and actively engages in educational technology integration.

Mr. Shahrose Ahmed is an experienced academic and clinician with over 10 years of expertise in higher education teaching, research, and student well-being. He holds an MS in Clinical Psychology (Chancellor’s Honor Roll), along with a Post-Magisterial Diploma in Clinical Psychology, BS in Clinical Psychology, and a Public Health Certification.

He has served in multidisciplinary roles including Lecturer, Clinical Psychologist, Program Manager, and Public Health Well-being Expert, with international research experience at McGill University (Canada), the Gates Foundation, and Global Funds. His research focuses on mental health, social behavior, and public health, with multiple publications in recognized journals.

Mr. Ahmed has received three research grants, developed student wellness programs, and contributed to institutional policies on well-being and academic accommodation.

Mr. Rohail Intekhab is currently serving as Lecturer and Director Student Affairs at Al-Kawthar University. He is a distinguished media professional, educationist, and academic administrator with over 17 years of extensive experience in broadcast media, journalism, marketing, and higher education.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and Advertising and an MPhil in Mass Communication and Media Studies. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Media Studies, which is in progress.

Professionally, Mr. Intekhab has been associated with several leading television networks in Pakistan. He has worked as an Anchorperson with ABBTAKK TV, BOL TV, Business Plus TV, PTV, ARY Digital, HUM TV, NEWSoNE, and GEO TV. In addition, he has worked as an international television commercial artist for prominent advertising agencies.

His professional expertise includes broadcast journalism, television news production, media management, corporate communication, and public affairs.

Academically, he has served as a faculty member at well-reputed institutions, including NUML, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Iqra University, Greenwich University, SZABIST College, the University of Karachi, and FUUAST.

Currently, along with his administrative responsibilities at Al-Kawthar University, he is also serving as a Morning Show Host at Channel 5 News.

Mr. Shoaib A. Siddiqui is an experienced educator and trainer with 6+ years in English language teaching and 14 years in soft skills and capacity-building programs under U.S.-funded initiatives. He holds an M.A. in Sociology, a B.A. (Honors), and is foreign-certified in advanced English language teaching practices.

A Fulbright Scholar, awarded by the U.S. Department of State, he has implemented youth empowerment programs across Sindh funded by the U.S. Embassy Islamabad. His expertise includes communication skills, public speaking, leadership development, personality development, and career guidance. He also gained international exposure at UCLA, USA.

Miss Mahrukh Siddiqui is an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, currently serving as an associate lecturer at Al-Kawthar University. She holds a M.Sc. in Zoology and a M.Ed. from the University of Sindh and is presently pursuing an MPhil in Education to further develop her research and leadership skills. She has previously worked as a lecturer and subject coordinator at SZABIST School and Intermediate College. Passionate about student-centered learning, Miss Siddiqui has led a virtual lab initiative to enhance students’ practical skills and organized an annual science fair that attracted over 500 visitors.
