A Celebration of Freedom, Patriotism & National Pride
The spirit of patriotism and national pride came alive as Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, unity, and heartfelt devotion. The occasion brought together the university community to honour the nation’s freedom, reflect on its journey, and reaffirm a shared commitment to building a better future for Pakistan.
The celebration commenced with an inspiring welcome address by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Athar Mahboob (TI), who highlighted the true value of independence and the responsibilities it brings. Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Management & Social Sciences, and Dr. Shahid Mir, Director Student Services, also addressed the gathering and shared their reflections on the significance of the occasion.
Students added vibrancy to the event through an engaging speech competition, expressing their love for Pakistan and sharing their hopes and aspirations for the country’s future. The celebrations continued with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a joyful cake-cutting ceremony that added to the festive spirit.
The occasion concluded with a renewed sense of pride, unity, and responsibility, inspiring everyone to play their part in contributing towards a stronger, prosperous, and brighter Pakistan.
